Mountainscape Sunrise Pendant

This mountainscape sunrise pendant is a stunning piece of jewellery inspired by a beautiful sunrise I witnessed over the Indonesian island of Lombok, viewed across the water from the fabulous island Gili Air. 

The rising sun was created using Keum-Boo, an ancient Korean technique used to fuse 24k gold foil onto sterling silver, creating a unique contrast between two metals. The mountainscape was created using the very organic technique reticulation, where metal is heated repeatedly to create the rugged and textured effect.  

Delicately strung on silver belcher chain using 9ct gold ring accents.
